Answer :- Newton's law of gravitation state that every particle in the universe attracts every other particles with a force directly propotional to the product of their masses and inversely propotional to the square of the distance between them. The direction of the force is along the line joining the particles.

                       F=G M1M2/r2

Where G is the constant , called as the universal constant of gravitation.

The value of G has been experimentlly determined i.e. G= 6.67*10-11 Nm2/Kg2.

Dimensional formula of G is [M-1 L3 T-2]
